Com­mu­nity de­vel­op­ment is a process where com­mu­nity mem­bers come to­gether to take col­lec­tive ac­tion and gen­er­ate so­lu­tions to com­mon prob­lems. Com­mu­nity well­be­ing (eco­nomic, so­cial, en­vi­ron­men­tal and cul­tural) of­ten evolves from this type of col­lec­tive ac­tion be­ing taken at a grass­roots level.
